Simple supported beam (uniform load)
Simply supported span with a uniformly distributed load. Enter span length and load intensity; optional modulus E and moment of inertia I are used only for midspan deflection. Use Print / Save as PDF to add a summary to calculation packages (choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog).

Results
Assumes a prismatic member, uniform load along the full span, and small deflections. Units: length in feet, load in kip per foot; moment in kip-ft; shear and reactions in kips.
